My dad visited a few days ago and hiked the Virginia Triple Crown with me. We had a great time and had some pretty decent weather too.

The trail has been fairly empty the past few days. I only saw 1 thru hiker a day for 2 days in the row. It’s been different having so much solitude but it’s been a good push for me. That being said, one of my friends is supposed to catch up soon and I’m looking forward to the company.
